Construction Websites Built to Turn Visitors Into Project Inquiries
Every contractor we talk to has the same problem: a website that looks fine but doesn’t generate work. It’s not a design problem — it’s a strategy problem. Most agencies start with a template. We start with your buyers: how they search, what they look for, and what it takes to get them to pick up the phone. From there, we build a site that’s SEO-architected from day one, designed to convert, and built to scale alongside your business.
SOUND FAMILIAR?
Why Your Website is Costing You Work Before You Even Know It
Your site looks like it was built years ago (because it was)
A dated design signals to buyers that your company isn’t current. First impressions happen before anyone picks up the phone, and a site that looks five years old often costs you the conversation before it starts.
Visitors land on your site and leave without contacting you
Traffic without conversion is wasted spend. If your site doesn’t have a clear path from landing to lead — a compelling offer, visible CTAs, and a reason to act now — you’re paying to send prospects to your competitors every time someone clicks away.
Your website isn't showing up in local search
A website that Google can’t find doesn’t generate leads Most contractor sites aren’t built with SEO architecture in mind, which means the right buyers in your market who are searching for exactly what you do never reach it in the first place.
Your site doesn't reflect your high quality of work
You’ve built an impressive portfolio of completed projects, but your website doesn’t show it. When your digital presence doesn’t match the quality of your company, it anchors buyer expectations before the conversation even begins. The work closes deals, but your website has to earn the chance to show it.
Your agency built you a template, not a strategy
Generic contractor templates don’t account for how your buyers actually make decisions. A homeowner evaluating storm restoration, a facilities director sourcing an HVAC contractor, and a developer selecting a GC are not the same buyer. They shouldn’t hit the same page with the same message.
Your site can't support the next phase of your growth
If you’re adding service lines, expanding into new markets, or scaling headcount, your website needs to be able to grow with you. Sites built on weak foundations require a full rebuild every time the business evolves. That’s less of a foundation than it is a liability.
Your Website Should Be Generating Work.
Here’s How We Make Sure It Does.
Your website should be one of the hardest-working parts of your business, generating inquiries, qualifying buyers, and reflecting the quality of the company you’ve built. If it isn’t doing that, the problem isn’t cosmetic.
We fix it at the strategic level. That means starting with your buyers — how they search, how they evaluate contractors, and what it takes to earn the call. From there, we build every page around that decision process: proof where it matters, clear differentiators, and CTAs mapped to how your sales process actually works.
Because we come from construction consulting, we don’t need to learn your industry before we can write about it. We’ve worked inside these businesses. That knowledge goes into every page.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
01. How long does a construction website build take?
Most construction website builds take 6–10 weeks from kickoff to launch, depending on scope, the number of service and vertical pages required, and how quickly content and approvals move. We build to a defined project timeline with clear milestones, not an open-ended process that drags on for months. You’ll know exactly what’s happening and when at every stage.
02. Do you use templates or build custom sites?
We build custom sites designed for your specific vertical, buyer type, and competitive market. Templates are built to fit every business, which means they’re optimized for none of them. A roofing company targeting storm insurance restoration clients in the Southeast and a commercial GC sourcing negotiated work with repeat owners are not the same website, and we don’t treat them like they are.
03. What platform do you build on?
Most of our construction websites are built on WordPress, which gives us full SEO control, flexible architecture, and the ability to scale content and service pages as your business grows. We discuss platform fit during your audit — if you have existing infrastructure or specific technical requirements, we’ll factor that into the recommendation.
04. Will my new website rank on Google?
We build every site with SEO architecture in place from day one: proper heading structure, keyword-aligned page copy, schema markup, mobile performance, and page speed optimization. What we don’t promise is a specific ranking or timeline, because search performance compounds over time and depends on content production, local competition, and your market. We build the technical foundation correctly so that your content and ongoing SEO have something solid to work with from launch.
05. Do you handle hosting and maintenance after the site launches?
Yes. Hosting setup, DNS configuration, and ongoing website management are available as part of a Phase 2 retainer engagement. Your site doesn’t go live and get left on its own; it gets maintained, updated, and optimized as part of a larger marketing system. A website that isn’t actively managed degrades. We make sure that doesn’t happen.
06. What if I already have a website — do I need a full rebuild?
Not always. Some clients come to us with a functional site that needs conversion optimization, new vertical pages, or SEO remediation rather than a ground-up rebuild. Our free Marketing Audit assesses your current site and gives you a clear picture of what needs to change and why — before we scope any work. If a rebuild is the right call, we’ll tell you. If targeted improvements make more sense, we’ll tell you that instead.
07. How much does a construction website cost?
Website builds are scoped based on the number of pages, the complexity of the design, and the volume of custom content required. Most construction website projects in our Phase 1 engagement range from $10,000–$25,000. You’ll receive a detailed SOW-based proposal after your audit.
08. Can you redesign my site without losing the SEO I've built?
Yes — and this is a detail many agencies get wrong, and it costs clients dearly. A redesign done carelessly can wipe out years of accumulated search equity. Before we touch any existing site, we conduct a full SEO audit, document all ranking URLs, and build a redirect map that preserves your search positions through the transition. Post-launch, we validate performance to confirm nothing was lost.
