Michael Jennings
Procore Specialist
Michael grew up around construction.
Raised in a family of electricians, he spent summers working for a local general contractor before enlisting in the United States Air Force. It was there that he found his footing in the industry, earning multiple Air Force Commendation Medals and a 2018 Federal Service Employee of the Year award, recognition that reflected the caliber of work he brought to every assignment. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Construction Management through Park University while serving, graduating cum laude, and left the military having managed tens of millions in federal construction and developed the people around him just as deliberately as he managed the work.
After the Air Force, Michael took on project management, project executive, and construction management roles across commercial general contracting, engineering teams, and state agencies. He owned the cradle-to-grave of every project along the way and built deep fluency in Procore and Autodesk Construction Cloud, not just as a user but as someone who developed the systems, templates, and workflows that made those platforms actually perform. That hands-on experience is what drew Procore to him. For nearly two years, Michael advised contractors and owners across the country on how to design financial and preconstruction systems that actually work together. He helped companies align their estimating, budgeting, and accounting workflows, integrate ERPs, and build the reporting visibility their leadership teams needed to make confident decisions. He understands where the data breaks down, because he’s seen it break down at every stage.
At Ascent, Michael brings that same systems-first thinking to contractors and owners nationwide. As a Procore Specialist, he helps clients get beyond the tool and into the workflow, building the structure, processes, and accountability that turn Procore from a software purchase into a platform that actually runs the job.
