Andrew Pfeiffer

Andrew grew up in the trades and has spent his career working in and around construction. Starting in the field, he developed hands-on experience across residential, commercial, and light industrial work — learning the craft from the ground up before moving into estimating, project management, and eventually running operations for small and mid-sized construction firms. Along the way, he earned a BS in Business Administration from DeVry University, pairing his field experience with a formal foundation in business. That progression from field to office gives him a perspective most consultants don’t have.

For several years, Andrew owned and operated a subcontracting business, where he experienced firsthand the full weight of running work profitably — managing crews, handling customer expectations, tracking costs, navigating cash flow, and building the systems that keep a company from depending on one person to hold everything together. He knows what it feels like when things are working, and when they aren’t.

Over the past few years, Andrew has consulted with construction companies to find where profit, communication, and accountability are breaking down — and helped owners and leadership teams actually fix it. At Ascent, he brings that same field-tested approach, guided by his 5 E’s Framework — Experience, Expectations, Execution, Education, and Empowerment — to help contractors reduce chaos, protect margin, and build a company that performs without the owner carrying it all.
